About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business in northern Sweden. You will work with both existing customers and new customer acquisition, with the goal of expanding the business and introducing new solutions within Lyma's product range.
The role is independent and field-based, where you plan your customer visits and drive the entire sales process from needs analysis to closing. You will have a technical dialogue with the customer and collaborate with internal product specialists to develop the right solution.
More concretely, the position includes:
- Nurturing and developing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
- Working with industrial segments such as chemicals, mining, steel, and energy
- Conducting customer meetings, needs analyses, and technical presentations
- Collaborating with internal product specialists, sales support, and other technical resources
About You
To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious, self-driven, and have a natural ability to build trust in dialogue with technically knowledgeable customers. You do not need to be a product expert, but you have an understanding of technical processes and an interest in understanding how different solutions affect the customer's operations and needs.
You enjoy planning and structuring your daily work, like to travel, and are motivated by creating business value over time. You gain energy from meeting people, listening to needs, and ensuring that the right solution reaches the right customer.
At Lyma, you work closely with your colleagues remotely, so it is important that you are used to taking responsibility, driving your own work, and contributing to good collaboration.
The following are requirements for the position:
- Experience in technical sales to industrial customers
- Good understanding of technical processes and solution selling
- Valid driver's license (B)
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Lime
Meritorious:
- Post-secondary technical education, e.g., engineering degree
- Experience in selling rotating equipment
- Industry experience from chemicals, mining, steel, energy, or process industry
Other Information
Start: Immediately as agreed
Location: Northern Sweden, preferably based in or near Skellefteå
Extent: Full-time
Working hours: Office hours with the possibility of remote work
Salary: Fixed salary + bonus
A company car is included in the position.
